Hi, I’m Nick Praulins.
I turn strategy into language people can use, repeat, and act on.
What I do
When companies grow, shift direction, or rebrand, I help teams land one clear story internally and externally across markets.
This work is part of building a broader strategic communications practice; one that helps challenger brands and next-generation businesses define new pathways to growth.
Who I work with
Today, I work directly with founders and leadership teams to bridge the gap between strategy and communication, data and human behaviour, and creative thinking and execution.
This includes teams navigating change, rebrands, or growth, where communication and content must hold together internally while making sense externally.
It also includes scaling organisations whose growth has outpaced their internal communication structures.
My work is most valuable when good communication is a critical driver of organisational success.
What I take responsibility for
I take responsibility for the communication narrative when things are changing.
That means ensuring leaders, teams, and markets understand what is happening, why it matters, and how to talk about it in a consistent and confident way.
I help organisations move from abstract strategy to language and content people can actually use in meetings, presentations, emails, decisions and other internal and external touchpoints.
Where this work shows up
Depending on the context, my work often includes:
Supporting organisations through complex moments when clarity matters.
Writing and shaping key narratives, scripts, presentations and other content assets.
Designing and facilitating leadership alignment and internal launches.
Leading internal, B2B, and B2C communication for rebrands and transformations.
Defining and operationalising brand voice across markets.
These are not separate services. They are different expressions of the same responsibility.

How I work
Through collaboration and iteration, my goal is to reduce ambiguity, focus on what people actually need to understand and repeat, and bring the narrative to life. My role is to translate strategy into language that is usable and credible in real organisational settings.
I work independently or alongside internal teams, agencies and partners, depending on what the situation requires.
When you should talk to me
You should talk to me if you are:
Looking for content and communication leadership without building a large agency structure.
Managing change where clarity really matters.
Preparing for a rebrand across countries or markets.
Trying to align internal and external communication around one clear story.
AI, language & judgement
Large language models are becoming powerful partners in thinking and drafting, and used well, they can meaningfully support communication work. They surface patterns, accelerate iteration, and help teams explore ideas more efficiently.
At the same time, organisational communication depends on nuance that current AI systems can’t yet reliably discern: shifting sentiment, unspoken context, tone, timing, and power dynamics.
I use AI as a thought partner, not a substitute for human judgement, combining its strengths with editorial care and contextual awareness to ensure communication remains accurate, appropriate, trustworthy, and human.
About me
I have led communication and learning in complex organisational environments for over twenty years, supporting teams across countries, cultures, and contexts.
In recent years, this work has focused on brand, rebrand, and organisational change, where clear narrative and internal alignment are critical.
Having lived and worked across Europe, Australia, and Southern Africa, I bring a strong sensitivity to culture, language, and how communication actually lands with different audiences.
I work in both advisory and in house contexts, taking responsibility for shaping and sustaining internal narratives over time, particularly during periods of change.

Experience across contexts
Alongside corporate work, I collaborate with organisations such as Europass Teacher Academy and co-founded Let’s Be Real, a European initiative focused on mental health communication in school communities.
In these settings, I support educators and leaders working in multilingual and multicultural environments, applying the same communication discipline I use in corporate contexts: translating complexity into shared language and practical understanding.
Different audiences, same work. Communication that holds across borders, cultures and systems.
